What is DNA Testing?
When you need absolute confirmation or exclusion of identity, no method provides more advantages than DNA testing using polymerase chain reaction technology (PCR).

This technique is well suited to forensic, or genetic relationship analysis. Reference samples can be easily and non-intrusively obtained from cheek (buccal) swabs in a legally defensible manner. Questioned samples are similarly amenable to PCR analysis whether varied in type (blood, semen, saliva, hair, etc.) or difficult to analyze.

Typically, samples are required from the mother, child and alleged father, although definitive results can also be obtained without a sample from the mother and in some instances with other family members substituting for the alleged father.
